The Asia Spa Project was born almost two years ago, when two overworked New York-based yogis decided they needed to spend more time at the one place they felt most at peace: the spa. For Matthew and Maria Wakem, the spa has become more than a two-hour pit stop to get a deep tissue massage; it’s become a way of life. From ancient Ayurvedic techniques to carefully prepared organic cuisine to stunningly beautiful views that inspire you to exhale, each location included in this project offers something that heals. We’ve made it our mission to share them.
